National Patient Safety Goals Series

Series Overview:

Although there were not changes to the Joint Commissions National Patient Safety Goals for 2013 from 2012, this program has been updated to reflect that the requirement to "Implement evidence-based practices to prevent indwelling catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI) introduced in 2012, is now expected to be fully implemented in targeted hospitals and critical access hospital accreditation programs.
