Point Of Care
Heat Inc's., understanding of the importance of point of care testing has secured the rights to a number of innovative point of care devices and is currently developing a number of programs to deploy point of care testing with ease.

Point-of-care testing (POCT) is defined as diagnostic testing at or near the site of patient care.  The driving notion behind POCT is to bring the test conveniently and immediately to the patient.  This increases the likelihood that the patient will receive the results in a timely manner and lead to improvements in the management of patient care, improvements in patient outcomes, and decreased utilization of the healthcare system.

POCT devices have become more efficient, accurate and affordable and therefore will be used more frequently in patient care.

Governments all over the world are and will continue to be forced to restrain their healthcare expenditures.  Therefore, POCT testing will become more common in healthcare settings especially in pharmacies and doctors offices.
