This final program in the three-part Human Immune System series will describe what happens when something goes wrong with the immune system. It will focus on allergies, asthma and other common autoimmune disorders. In addition, it will briefly explain primary and secondary dysfunctions, such as immunoglobulin deficiencies caused by genetic abnormalities as well as the effect certain types of medications have on the immune system.
